My gorgeous friend Aimee who has a background in Visual Merchandising and floristry,

has just done our windows with one of her amazing nests she makes for her business Wild Wood Weaving.

This particular one is larger than most, measuring about 1.5m across,

she also does little wee ones with quails eggs and feathers.

Sweet Dreams

My boys will be sweet dreaming this winter in these great new pj's by Little Horn.....

they have just arrived in store.

Cookies

I grew up baking with my nana every Saturday,

we would only bake biscuits and cakes, she even bought one of those donut makers that drop out the batter with the hole in the middle, and I just thought it was the greatest thing ever.

Since I had my twins last year and have been home more,

I have embraced the baking again, here is a great recipe, purely because it only has 75gms of butter and most choc chip recipes have 225gms of butter,

you gotta love that!



Chocolate and cranberry biscuits

75g butter
50g soft brown sugar
50g caster sugar
1 egg
few drops vanilla
160g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
110 g chocolate roughly chopped(or chips)
50g dried cranberries

mix butter sugar, add egg and vanilla,
sift in flour and baking powder,
stir in chocolate and cranberries,

line trays with baking paper, roll teaspoon balls of mixture,
bake 180 degrees 12-15 mins

I use white chocolate,

and she got it from an American friend.

Cupcake City

Finally after delays in shipping, quarantine and customs our lovely delivery of lacquerware has arrived from Vietnam.

These dear little cupcake containers come in 3 sizes,

and prices start at $36.

We have received in today more of the babushka dolls we had before Christmas,

they are all handmade and all different,

and cost $66 each.

I stumbled across this photo today.... with one of my quilts on the bed.

I love seeing where my quilts end up.

Clerodendrum

This is the lastest addition to my garden, a clerodendrum bungei.

I had never heard of or seen one before, as soon as I saw it in the nursery, it had to come home with me.

The flowers are about15cm across and smell lovely....

its evergreen and grows to 1.5 metres.

We are currently sold out of all quilts, except for one in the city store.

I am currently making more, but it will be a month at least until they start to make it into the shops.

I will post some photos of them as they arrive, so all of you waiting on quilts outside of Melbourne can see what is available.

They do seem to be selling incredibly fast lately, so this will be a great way for you to be able to see all the new quilts.
