I was alerted to these photos this week, by a lady enquiring about the quilt in the photos,

it is one of mine, and I love seeing where my quilts end up.

I think it looks great, and it seems to have gone to a good home.

garden party

This is completely stunning,
3,000 scarves sewn together into a tent for a garden party for some very lucky guests to party in....

who would have thought the life of a shepherd could be so bespoke?
these huts are made to traditional designs and meticulous detail is given to fittings,
electrics, plumbing and a wood stove can all be included if you so desire.....

Shed 4, Daylesford

I had a great day in Daylesford on Sunday, I took my boys and one of my nephews who was staying with us for the weekend at our place in Castlemaine to the Hepburn Bathhouse.
We spent 2 hours swimming and spa-ing in the gorgeously renovated spa pool....
we then met up with some friends and went to David Bromleys 'Shed 4'
As you can see from the images below, he has created many 'spaces' within this large shed,
my favourite was the converted bus, and the old Army tent furnished a bit 'Ralph Lauren Safari'

Night's Plutonian Shore-Julia Deville

I went to the opening of Julia Devilles exhibition tonight,
it was incredible.
I am a fan of taxidermy anyway, but what she has created is spectacular.
If only I could afford the kitten, or the Swan Lake, three mice who spin around in tutu's....
or the circus box with the mouse on the trapeze in a leopard print leotard.......





I bumped into Alice who worked with me years ago sewing, she had sewn all the costumes for the mice, you can see her reflection here on left of pic.

Block Arcade store

These are photos taken this week of the city store, in the Block Arcade,

I have just discovered this blog, Heidi Kenney is a very talented and intriguing woman.
Anyone with BAKE & CAKE tattooed on their knuckles will get my attention immediately,
she makes incredible craft, the stump & mushroom in a bell jar are my favourite,
and I would definitely get my boys a hotdog each!
she bakes incessantly, and her cake creations are fantastic,
if I ever go to Chicago I will hunt her down for tea and cake.....
