GURU

I have spent my adult years listening to Guru,
the first Jazzmatazz album was brilliant and Gang Starr were amazing in those early 90's years of hip hop.
I remember going to a large music festival a few years ago,
I arrived as Gang Starr were starting and left as soon as they finished......
memories of great times...

beci orpin exhibition

I went along to beci orpins exhibition opening tonight,
'the infinite shape of rainbows' at Lamington Drive
try and check it out, she never disappoints, and I have my eye on a couple of little things.....


the talented miss bonnie mooney who works for me and Lamington Drive,
pointed out she thought this yellow haired beauty looked like me??
is that a compliment?
I would wear those sunglasses!!!!

Malcolm McLaren was a true visionary,
the world needs people like him to open our eyes from the everyday...
oh to be able to double dutch like those chicks in his video..... so very cool

Is it? It isn't, it is!

I came across this photo this week in UK Elle Decoration February 2010,
and was flabagasted that someone could copy so well one of my quilts.
Then the more I looked at it, the more familiar it became,
until I came to the conclusion that it is mine, it must be about 6 years old and lives in the UK?
