tree houses

We had a primitive tree house when we were kids, really only a platform! and I used to love sitting up there in the pine tree,
until one day a huntsman crawled onto me, that was it I never went up there again.....
but I love tree houses, and these 2 are exceptional

Architect Ternobu Fujimori designed and built this takasugi-an a tea house for himself, in Chino, Japan.
a place to get away and dring tea....
it is just completely heavenly.....



and this one, Fireball Lilly Lodge is a design by Hogarth Architects,
its a holiday home in Kilifi, Kenya.

these little guys have arrived in store, and I know there is a glut of owl happenings all over town,
but it is my first foray into owl territory........
